In August 2022, a group of passionate pet lovers came together to form PawBau. Our mission was clear from the start: to develop a product that would allow fellow pet enthusiasts to carry a piece of their beloved furry friends with them at all times. The inspiration behind PawBau is deeply personal and stems from a story of love, loss, and the timeless bond we share with our pets.

The Inspiration Behind PawBau

I am Paul, the founder of PawBau. The loss of Lola, our cherished German Shepherd, left a profound void in our family. Witnessing the sorrow in my parents' eyes, I was driven to find a way to encapsulate the memory and love for Lola into a small object that could be with them every moment of their lives. It was then that I realized jewelry could be the PERFECT solution.

With my background in design, I took to paper and pencil to sketch out what this piece of jewelry might look like. After finalizing the design, I reached out to a friend with extensive experience in jewelry making to bring my vision to life.

For my mother, that piece of jewelry is as if it has a life of its own. She never leaves the house without ensuring she's wearing that small silhouette representing Lola. It must always be with her.

Seeing the profound impact the jewelry had on my mother, and understanding the powerful connection such a small object could forge with a memory or bond, we created PawBau. We realized that other pet lovers like us might need something like this in their lives. And we were right... Thanks to your support, PawBau has continued to grow month by month. Our team is expanding too, ensuring we provide the utmost support for our customers and develop new jewelry and products that carry the same emotional significance as the piece that started it all.
